2023 National NAIDOC Week theme is For Our Elders. The cultural knowledge holders, trailblazers, nurturers, advocates, teachers, survivors, leaders, hard workers and our loved ones. We draw strength from their knowledge and experience, in everything from land management, cultural knowledge to justice and human rights. Across multiple sectors like health, education, the arts, politics and everything in between, they have set the many courses we follow.

For 2023 NAIDOC NYLON is back so come join the Stereotype busting, blazing line-up of multigenerational Faboriginal +Torres Strait Islander entertainers with a brand new, eclectic and poignant Variety Cabaret evening.

Explore stories, creativity & ideas in bold new ways, from Burlesque to Drag, Performance art to circus, as together we all celebrate all things adventurous through pioneering artists & renegades bearing offerings that can, and often do, reshape and expand views.

NAIDOC week is a very real opportunity for all Australians to come together to celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the oldest continuing culture on the planet.
