Today at Bluesfest, Festival Director Peter Noble stood alongside Senator Sarah Hanson-Young and Mandy Nolan as The Greens officially launched their $20 million-a-year Festivals Support Package, right here on the grounds of Bluesfest Byron Bay.
With rising costs, insurance issues, and festival cancellations across the country, this plan brings hope and much-needed support to keep Australia's festival scene alive and thriving.
