SCULPTORS GET READY!!!! -
On SATURDAY, APRIL 20, 2024 the entries will open for the Wollombi Sculpture in the Vineyards Sculpture Festival (20th April till 2nd June).
Finalists will be considered for the many outstanding prizes & awards on offer at this years Festival, including the HSoA Gallery (Hampstead School of Art) Prize which is offered for the first time in 2024.
The recipient of this prize will receive an international (UK) solo exhibition opportunity and $5,000 allowance.
HSoA Gallery has hosted many internationally acclaimed artists including Sir Frank Bowling, Alan Gouk and Lei Lei Qu to name a few.
'An outstanding sculpture' will be selected and the awarded artist must be able to curate a series of their works that would make a strong exhibition at HSoA Gallery, London.
A 4/6 week exhibition details and the HSoA Gallery will host the Private View, announce and hang the exhibition which can include drawings of the artists work,
small plinth based works and maquettes.
Our distinguished guest sculptor, Isabel H Langtry is the Principal of the HSoA and will select the deserving recipient of this prize.
I am delighted to be leading an art school that makes such a valuable contribution to lifelong learning. Hampstead School of Art is all about the wonder of learning and the impact learning and making art has in developing personal potential and creating new opportunities.
