British-Italian tenor Freddie De Tommaso is currently winning fans and plaudits in some of the world's most prestigious opera houses.
He's also the first tenor to be signed to the prestigious Decca label since 2007, and his first two albums debuted at the top of the classical charts.
Limelight, in a five-star review of his second album, Il Tenore, said the recording saw him stake claim as The Tenor' of his generation.
See his Australian debut recital performances at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Recital Centre this August.
