We're thrilled to be joined by special guest artist Aura Go - pianist for our upcoming ACO Up Close: Beethoven Arranged concerts (this Sat 20 Apr, ACO Pier 2/3 in Sydney and Mon 22 Apr, 4pm & 7pm). She performs across the globe, as soloist in concertos from J.S. Bach to Sofia Gubaidulina, as recitalist and chamber musician in programs that interweave old and new music, and as creative collaborator in the development of new music and multi-artform projects.
She collaborated with the ACO's own Timo-Veikko 'Tipi' Valve for a monumental recording of Beethoven Cello Sonatas, which they've been touring internationally and here in Australia recently. And we can't wait to hear them in more Beethoven together when Aura joins Tipi and ACO Principal Violin Helena Rathbone for a wonderful trio arrangement of Beethoven's Symphony No.2.
