Based on the 2005 film of the same name, and inspired by a true story, Kinky Boots tells the tale of Charlie Price, a young man who faces the unenviable task of trying to reverse the fortunes of his family’s flailing shoe factory in order to save it from insolvency.

Following a chance encounter with Lola, a bold and brassy London drag queen, Charlie concocts an idea of creating a new, niche line of footwear aimed specifically at drag queens.  Not everyone in the factory is pleased with the proposed new line of shoes however, and so it seems the task of saving the factory might not be so straight-forward as Charlie thinks.

Featuring an energetic pop score by Cyndi Lauper, fierce choreography, and a tale of acceptance, Kinky Boots was the winner of six Tony awards® when it debuted on Broadway in 2013, including Best Musical and Best Original Score.  Book your tickets now as this musical is certain to be one for the ages.
