Gosford Musical Society is proud to announce their production of the hit musical 9 to 5 this August. This major show will feature an emphasis on dance, with choreography by Amanda Woodbine and Ashlea Roods. Directed by Karen Snook and with musical direction by Chris Hochkins, this is set to be a truly spectacular production.

Local auditions for the musical will be held on the 18th and 19th of March.

Based on the 1980 movie of the same name, 9 to 5 tells the story of three women who work in a corporate office and band together to overthrow their sexist and egotistical boss.
The original film starred Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin and was a huge success, grossing over $100 million at the box office.

The musical adaptation premiered on Broadway in 2009, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton herself.
